New York Mets pitcher Dwight Gooden is thinking of filing a harassment charge against the Tampa police department after his car was stopped several weeks ago, according to published reports.
Newsday reported Thursday that Gooden, according to attorney Ron Cacciatore, was stopped by police in Tampa, his home town, six weeks ago and told he was driving with expired license plates. Gooden told police the New York State plates on his Mercedes-Benz had not expired, and was let off with what Cacciatore described as "a warning."
